Telephone Technician

We are a telecommunications equipment provider for small and medium sized businesses. We specialize in business telephone systems (traditional and server based), voice messaging systems, computer telephony integration, voice, network and data cabling. We sell products and services from many of the leading manufacturers in the industry including NEC America, Toshiba, Nortel, Avaya, ATT, Lucent Partner, Vodavi and others.

Telephone technicians employed by us must be able to work under minimal supervision and be able to rely on their own experience, common sense and judgment to plan and accomplish their assigned tasks.

Our telephone technicians are responsible for:

• The installation, programming, training, maintenance and repair of telecommunications equipment and all associated computer and electronic equipment.
• Surveying facilities for cabling, new installations and upgrades.
• Assess and respond to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or resolving problems.
• Repairing electronic hardware and updating software
• Interfacing with all telecommunication organizations for problem solutions.
• Acquiring an in-depth product knowledge and related configuration expertise.
• Certified or knowledgeable with Lucent Partner, Avaya, ATT, Merlin, Toshiba, NEC, Vodavi and Nitsuko.
• Technicians must be courteous and positive with customers, as well as management.

Teamwork is mandatory in achieving maximum efficiency and support coverage. We are looking for a telecommunication technician that can communicate with the office manager and upper level management on a daily basis.  Employee must be available Monday thru Friday 8-5 (1 hour lunch). Overtime may be necessary as well as traveling outside San Diego County. Technician must be able to follow strict procedures while providing sub-contract work to our outside vendors.
